Daniel Sulman

The 8th Ward is proud to endorse Judge Dan Sulman for Court of Common Pleas.

Rated “Recommended” by the Philadelphia Bar, Judge Sulman brings 19 years of public service, including more than 13 years as a child custody and support hearing officer, and nearly three years as a Common Pleas Court Judge to this race.  Appointed to the bench by Governor Wolf, Judge Sulman must win this election to stay in his seat in Family Court.  In addition to his extensive judicial experience, Judge Sulman also brings more than two decades of expertise in Pennsylvania family law, a subject on which he has frequently lectured attorneys and fellow judges.  Judge Sulman is recognized for his work ethic and efficiency, especially with respect to his creation and implementation of internal court procedures which eliminated excessive court listings and promoted the prompt resolution of child custody relocation cases.  During his lengthy public service, Judge Sulman has demonstrated integrity, compassion, and sincere commitment to justice.  He has earned a reputation amongst his peers and the public for impartiality, efficiency, and judicial independence.  The public can rest assured that every person entering Judge Sulman’s courtroom will be treated with dignity and that he will render thoughtful decisions after patiently listening.
