The 8th Ward urges you to vote for Anthony Stefanski for Common Pleas Court. A Philadelphia native, Anthony has spent over thirty years in courtrooms prosecuting offenders and defending the wrongly accused. In his courtroom, the rule of law will be applied equally, fairly, and with regard to all of the facts.
Anthony has had a long and varied legal career spanning over three decades. After serving as a law clerk to a Judge in the Court of Common Pleas, Anthony worked in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office in the Municipal Trial and Major Jury Unit for six years. He left the DA’s Office to become a Sole Practitioner for 3 years, focusing on criminal defense. From 2011 until 2020 he represented hard working Union Members in need of legal help, as part of their Union Legal Plan Benefits, until the program ended. Antony returned to the Court of Common Pleas as a Law Clerk for two Judges in the Court of Common Pleas. Over his long career in litigation, Anthony estimates he has tried thousands of cases as an Assistant District Attorney and private attorney in criminal and civil practice. In addition, Anthony has served as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia Court’s Arbitration Center since 1997.
Anthony is running for judge to ensure every person who walks into his courtroom gets a fair shot. His strong experience in prosecution and defense for people facing their hardest moments has prepared him to give every party their fair shot and their due process.
