**Recommended by the 8th Ward

The 8th Ward urges you to vote for Shawn Page for Municipal Court. Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Shawn Page is a dedicated advocate for justice and a proud member of our community. Shawn has established himself as a trusted attorney who understands the challenges and opportunities within our city. Shawn is one of the few criminal defense attorneys to successfully build a multi-jurisdictional practice, representing clients in both civil and criminal courts across Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, including Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Bucks.

Shawn’s path to law was not a traditional one. At the age of 35, while working full-time and raising three children, he earned his Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law’s evening program. He apprenticed early with the criminal defense firm of Nino V. Tinari, Esquire and Associates, where he honed his skills through rigorous trial experience. He later hung his own shingle as a solo practitioner, representing people accused of crimes.
Over his first few years in law, Shawn worked tirelessly to build a practice and navigate the challenges of going it alone. Within a few years, In 2018, Shawn caught the attention of Mincey Fitzpatrick & Ross, a leading boutique firm in Philadelphia, where he became a partner. Shawn now works with a full team of lawyer-colleagues and administrative support to fight relentlessly for his clients.

With over 100 bench trials and nearly 50 jury trials, he has successfully navigated civil disputes, misdemeanor, and felony criminal matters across Pennsylvania. His dedication to professionalism, through preparation, and clear communication with clients have earned him respect in courtrooms and communities alike.  Now, Shawn is ready to bring his experience, integrity, and community-driven approach to the bench. His strong connections with the people he represents and his respected presence in local courthouses reflect his unwavering commitment to justice. Shawn Page’s work embodies the firm’s mission of being “for the people,” ensuring that every client receives compassionate, effective representation.

We rigorously interviewed and considered Shawn, and he was very open, grounded, and candid in all of our discussions. We are confident that he brings the maturity, intelligence, temperament, integrity, and compassion that Municipal Court needs.

For the past 14 years, Mr. Page has been licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
